Privacy Policy
This policy describes the information HelpHours processes.

1. Hour-log and entry data
HelpHours stores log details, volunteer names, service dates, durations, activity labels, optional notes, review decisions, revisions, status, and timestamps. It does not require accounts or email addresses.
2. Private access links
Secrets stay in URL fragments, are sent to the API only when needed, and are stored by the server as cryptographic hashes.
3. Access to entries
The coordinator can review all entries. A volunteer can access only their own entry through its private receipt. Submission-link holders do not receive other entries or totals beyond accepted time.
4. Technical data and analytics
Security logs may process IP address, user agent, and timestamps. Optional analytics loads only after consent and must not receive private URLs or entry content.
5. Retention and deletion
A volunteer can withdraw an eligible entry. The coordinator can delete the entire hour log. Operational backups may persist for a limited period.
